My 90 NA2TT Project. New Vid Pg 5!!!!!

Postby NicelowZ on Fri Jan 22, 2010 11:53 am

Well, i have decided to sell the 91TT and keep this one. I only have a few pics, but for starters, I figured I would throw these up. The car looks to have a blown headgasket on the drivers side. The engine has around 55K on it. It is a 5-speed. Car has like 168K on it. Even came with a rare $200.00 titanium key!!!!

The car is in overall good shape. Has a small dent in the drivers side 1/4. Not a big deal. Anyway, here they are......

Burgundy Z FTW! Looks like a good project so I expect a ride when you have 500+hp.

Well, started tearing into it over the weekend. I have decided to just go ahead and get another engine and put into it. Looks to have automatic turbos on it. Anyway, I did come up with some good news. :) It has some aftermarket parts on it that I did not know about. It has Eibach springs on all 4 corners. It has a Z1 TT ECU, It has a 1-piece aluminum drive shaft, HKS BOV's, and it was an auto converted to stick. :) Talk about cheap insurance. :) Took aftermarket parts off the 91TT to put onto this one. I have the Stillen Upper Chromed intake, Stillen Hardpipes, Downpipes, and an electronic boost controller. When the car is done, running and tuned, it should be around 450-475 at the crank. :) This thing is going to be beast. :) That is all.

I know Update has been long overdue. Got the car running this weekend. Here are a few cheap teaser shots.....

From this..........

RPS Street Clutch
1 Piece Stainless Clutch Line
Full 2.5 inch catless exhaust.
Intake
Short Throw Shifter

Mostly every gasket replaced
Mostly every hose replaced with Z1 silicone hoses
Timing belt, pullys, water pump etc...
EGR Deleted
Water lines deleted under upper intake.
Z1 ECU
APEXI AVCR Electronic Boost controller
Boost gauge, and fuel pressure gauge
Z1 RFL Recirculating BOV's
Poly engine mounts

Eibach Lowering springs
Front air nose piece
Chrome gauge rings
Glow gauges
Stillen Hardpipes

And who knows what else............

Car is capable of running at 15PSI but plan on running it at 7 when driving. Drove it yesterday and the car responds very well. has a nice stiff ride and the power is insane. 245's out back and a lsd and 1st and 2nd are still pretty useless. Car put a big smile on my face. Running on 15 psi with a good tune should be around 375 at the wheels. I still have a bunch of crap to button up yet so I don't know if I will be making it to the meet or not. I am going to try but can't guarantee anything. Later people. Paul :)
